2022-08-18 Release Notes
Hanzo is routinely updating Hanzo Hold to improve user experience, add new features, address reported bugs, and enhance overall performance.
Main Interface Enhancements
Matter Page
The main matter page has been updated to Hanzo’s new grid table style. The table will now automatically default to twenty-five (25) matters instead of the previous 10. Columns with the filter icons can now be individually filtered according to the information in that column. For example, you can now filter on the Name of Matter, Created On, and Matter Status columns. The Search at the top of the page will still perform name and matter description searches if necessary.
Add New Matter Modal
The Add New Matter modal adds Matter Access Group capability as an option. This allows you to apply Admin and Reader access groups at the point of matter creation versus adding them after a matter has been created.
24HR Grouping Option for Slack Message PDF Exports (Beta) *
A new option has been added when creating a Slack export. It allows the user to choose whether the PDFs generated for a channel are generated in one thousand-messages per file format or in 24-hour format.
In 24-hour mode, each PDF will contain all of the messages for the particular channel on a given day.
Note that “a given 24 hour day” is based on the UTC time-zone, like all other dates in exports.
Note also that this only affects PDF generation, so only affects message-based (i.e. Slack) exports at the current time and has no effect upon Gmail/GDrive exports.
*This option is still considered in Beta. If the older export style is needed, select “1000 messages per PDF” as your export option.
Bug Fixes
Newly joined channels for active custodians originally in Preserve/Pause mode were set to preserve/pause instead of transitioning to active. This bug has been fixed and will update channels on next day ingestion. Custodian status may have shown “error” when the user selects “Collect All”. This issue has been resolved and custodian status should more accurately reflect the status.
