I have a Matter called Acme 1. When I try to create a new Matter named Acme, I get an exception error: Exception handled 2 Matters with this name [Acme] already exist.

Solution

In order to avoid search issues, a Matter name cannot be a subset of another matter. Since there was already a Matter called “Acme 1”, you cannot add a second matter simply called “Acme”. To resolve the issue, use a new Matter name that is not a subset (e.g., use “Acme 2”).
